I mean quitting this economy permanently. In Cuba they prepared for it and it wasn’t that painful. The government told them to grow their own crops Over here, people still think that this recession will be over soon. The oil won’t come back. In the bus example that I was using, after a few weeks of not using the buses, the government caved in. It was because they had hit them in their pockets. It wasn’t because they wanted to, it was because they had to. I’m saying that we can force the government to listen to us by hitting them in their pockets, peacefully. But unfortunately, I see your point. There aren’t enough people that are well informed or mad enough to try something like that. I don’t anything getting any better soon. I will say that we as a people really do need to get our priorities right or we’re going to go extinct. I really just don’t like feeling powerless.
